In July 2016, I returned to Greece with my daughter, Kathy Lynard, and her sons (my grandsons) Ben and Andrew Soper. I am so excited to introduce my family to the land of their ancestors. Together, we toured Athens, Eleusina, Santorini and our family villages in Sparta. When they returned to the U.S., I stayed an extra ten days to continue my research.

I was able to find new information at the General Archives of Greece, Sparta office; the Town Halls (Dimharheion) of Sparta and Kalamata, Messinia; the Central Library of Sparta. My dear friends, Gregory Kontos and Giannis Michalakakos, were a tremendous help and support throughout this trip.

I loved seeing my family, meeting new family members, and connecting with friends whom I have come to know and love through social media.
