What can I say about Athens? It is an antithesis of itself: noisy and crowded yet glorious and beautiful; a place to be visited and treasured for its architecture, history and contributions to civilization. Sadly, Athens is tattooed with graffiti on almost every available space of concrete. Although distracting, it doesn’t detract from the energy and ambiance of the city.
